The first new generation air blower in Lithuania and the Baltic States!

July 2017 In the wastewater treatment plant located at UAB "Kauno vandenys", Marvelės g. 119A, an emergency blower replacement was started and completed. UAB Ekobana selected, supplied, incorporated the turbine blower SULZER HST20-6000-190  into existing aeration system installed in the active sludge reactor, performed commissioning, start-up and the training of specialists from Kauno Vandenys.
The mounted air blower operates without an additional cooling system - the blower is cooled from ambient air. Operating temperature range: -20 to +45 C
After 120 hours of operation, following benefits had been identified:
- extremely low noise level - 72 dB;
- due to the fan-integrated frequency converter, its operating parameters smoothly fit into the existing system;
- fully protected, including protection from accidental mistakes and informative - shows the essential parameters (capacity, pressure, incoming / outgoing temperature, vibration level, etc.);
- high Efficiency (NVK) - at an optimal point total (including all losses) - about 77%;
- low operating costs – replaceable air filters;
- it is safely stopped in the normal way, and in the absence of voltage – the blower is stopped by emergence stop batteries - it maintains a magnetic field in the bearings.
Sulzer turbine blower HST is a new generation unit with controlled, non-lubricating servicing, magnetic bearings. The aforementioned blower motor is PREMIUM class, high speed, constant magnets, speeds up to 27000 rpm.
SULZER HST blowers are new generation units. Capacity from 1500 to 17000 m3 / h, pressure from 200 to 1100 mbar.
