The Most Powerful Single-Cell Cooling Tower Successfully Commissioned in Estonia

UAB “Ekobana” has successfully completed another significant project — in Kohtla-Järve, Estonia, the most powerful single-cell cooling tower in the country has been commissioned. The equipment was installed for our long-standing partner, VKG Oil AS.

The project was completed approximately two months ahead of schedule, once again demonstrating our team’s professionalism, efficient planning, and high level of work organization.

• Manufacturer: Kelvion B.V. (Netherlands)
• Type: counterflow
• Cooling capacity: 15 000 kW
• Flow rate of cooling water: 806.1 m³/h
• Inlet water temperature: +40 °C
• Outlet water temperature: +24 °C
• Design wet-bulb temperature: +18 °C

The actual cooling capacity of the tower exceeds the design values.

The installation of a new cooling tower has significantly increased the plant’s cooling capacity and created conditions for increasing the production volumes of certain types of highly marketable products with high added value.
