The most powerful autotransformer in the network of power transmission lines of Lithuania (LITGRID AB) was delivered, assembled and commissioned

July 26, 2019 A new 330/110/10 kV 300 MVA autotransformer AT-2 was commissioned at Vilnius Transformer Substation. It is by far the most powerful autotransformer in the network of Lithuanian power transmission lines (LITGRID AB). Throughout the project, both existing 330/110/10 kV 175 MVA autotransformers will be replaced with new 300 MVA autotransformers. The second identical autotransformer is scheduled to be commissioned in late October.
